CBTp For Command Hallucinations

This experiential workshop focuses on developing clinical skills for working with clients experiencing distressing psychosis. Join us for an advanced CBT for psychosis workshop on applying CBTp for command hallucinations. This recovery-focused workshop will focus on the maintenance and longitudinal conceptualization of command hallucinations and high impact CBTp strategies to empower clients to regain control of their lives. Experiential approaches will emphasize clinical demonstrations, video demonstrations, and case examples.

PRESENTER

Dr. Michael Best is a Clinical Psychologist and an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Department of Psychological Clinical Science at the University of Toronto where he is Director of both the Therapeutic Interventions for Psychosis Lab and the Clinical Research and Evaluation Center. He completed his graduate training at Queen’s University and his residency at the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Research Centre in Philadelphia, PA.
