About

This course explores Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp) with a focus on negative symptoms like avolition, alogia, anhedonia, affective blunting, asociality, which hinder functioning and recovery. It covers conceptualizing and maintaining negative symptoms, applying evidence-based strategies such as behavioural activation, social skills training, behavioural experiments, and savouring techniques to improve motivation, engagement, and social interaction. Through structured learning and practice, participants will develop skills to break avoidance patterns, challenge maladaptive beliefs, and increase meaningful activity.
