This course provides a comprehensive overview of the longitudinal phase in a course of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis (CBT). Key considerations for this phase will be explored, including the importance of introducing coping strategies, utilizing containment techniques, simplifying conceptualizations, addressing trauma, and facilitating core belief change. The course highlights the significant overlap between trauma and psychosis, and how trauma can influence the development and management of psychotic-like experiences. Participants will also learn about the use of various change strategies to work with clients in the longitudinal phase. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with valuable skills and strategies to promote personal growth and relapse prevention for clients.
